Trailnet's 2012 Century Ride a success
While we’ve had bigger crowds for our Century we have not had braver ones. People who came out to register the day of the ride numbered 104 – amazing considering the forecast called for rain. The number of people who pre-registered was 349 and only a small number didn’t show.
It seemed like riders pedaled through an entire autumn season on Sunday – riding through rain and high winds, under clear skies and cloudy skies, and braving chilly temps and enjoying some warm, sunny stretches.
We were impressed by riders all day long. It was a pleasure to see them cross the finish line, spirits high, and to spend time with those riders who stuck around at the after party.
