Now that a number of other organizations and agencies are working to expand the network of trails in the St. Louis bi-state area, Trailnet has shifted our focus to projects that emphasize trail enhancements, such as visitor facilities and public art that draw a broader audience to these community recreational facilities. These projects are listed below. In 2006, we kicked-off our Healthy & Active Communities Initiative project that works to prevent obesity through policy implementation.
