Have Some Fun … Take a Walk!
Our calendar includes events for all skill levels. No special equipment is needed: just a pair of comfortable walking shoes! Be sure to dress for the weather, bring water and binoculars. Walkers might want to bring a daypack with these essentials: map (provided at registration), food and water, first-aid kit, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a whistle. Additional items include: a compass or GPS unit, extra clothing, headlamp or flashlight with extra batteries and a knife.
